Cynthia

Today's quote "you cannot dream yourself into a character; you must hammer and forge yourself one" {Henry David Thoreau} Today I am going to speak on age appropriate make-up. When a young girl around the age of twelve or thirteen decides she would like to start wearing make-up the most important thing is that it is age appropriate. At this early age I recommend very light make-up, that will just enhance her features. There are a lot of products that will do just that. The colors of eye-shadow are important, light pinks, light neutrals, no eyeliner a little mascara if she has very light eyelashes and that's it. Blush should be very light as well. A soft pink right on the apples of her cheeks. If she needs or wants to wear foundation I recommend a tinted moisturizer, because it has very little coverage, but has the benefit of a moisturizer. Finally a little gloss or lip balm and shes good to go.
